Yes, Berks Container Recovery is a certified & insured recycling center. We have been certified by the state and have met all the requirements for safe and environmentally-friendly recycling practices. Our scales are callibrated & certified by the state regularly also.

You can bring your non-ferrous materials whenever it is convenient for you during our business hours. All customers must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to closing and we ask large or unsorted loads to arrive even earlier. We appreciate your help getting our team home to their families on time!

Yes! We offer premium pricing by weight AND we have a loyalty program as well! Give us a call to learn more about these programs. 

We constantly follow the COMEX & LME markets to help follow market fluctuations with pricing. We work with several brokers, exporters, and processors so we can secure the best spreads for materials and ultimately pass on those premiums to our customers. 

Upon arrival, you should park on the right side of the building facing the grass embankment. One of our trained employees will assess your materials and determine the most effiecient way to unload. They will also help guide you how to sort your materials so you get the highest ROI. Your materials will then be weighed on our certified scales and paid based on the COMEX & LME markets. Your transaction will be completed at your vehicle! Per state law, all transactions valued over $100 will need an account with a valid driver's license on file. 

We are happy to help corporate accounts streamline their recycling efforts. We offer pre-weighed gaylord boxes & skids and metal boxes and can pick up materials if you meet our pickup requirements. While we do accept those materials for recycling, due to township ordinances, we are not allowed to pay for these items. Please check in with the team by customer parking before dropping off any ferrous materials. 

No, we do not accept electronics for recycling at Berks Container Recovery. 

No, we do not accept cardboard, paper, or trash at Berks Container Recovery. 

While we have a truck scale, it is not for public scale use. 

Once the recyclables are dropped off at Berks Container Recovery, our team sorts and processes them to prepare them for recycling. The recyclables are then sent to our partner facilities such as shred mills and wire choppers to be recycled into new products.
